Another fabulous trip to Paris in February for WineParis 2020. The show was twice as big as last year, lots of people and lots of wine. We stayed on the left bank right by St. Sulpice Church and Le Bon Marche, a great area and easy Metro stop to the convention center. Met up with Dominique Guffond from Chateau LeSepe for a very nice lunch. Being February and the start of the Coronavirus it was pretty quiet in Paris. After 5 days in Paris we drove down to Burgundy for 5 days for vineyard visits. Stayed in a great small town, Tournus. Would highly recommend staying here and staying at Vinilodge, a great apartment with garage right on the river. Sophie was a wonderful host and provided a ton of information. Had an excellent visit to Chateau du Chatelard and Charline took us to a very nice dinner.

Burgundy vineyard visits were:
Domaine Cluny: Camille

Domaine Virely-Rougeot: Patrick et Virginie

Domaine Dupasquier: Vincent

Domaine Alain Mathias (Chablis area that is closer to Paris): Carole

Will be posting some photos shortly but all in all a very good trip, talked with some old friends and met some great new people. Tasted some fabulous wine from the Burgundy area and hope to bring some in.
